APRIL 10, 2010 – SPRING INDIVIDUAL GROSS/NET TOURNAMENT
- 113 players signed up to play with 108 players competing.
- The day was clear with temperatures in the high 30's to start and warming to the mid 50's by tournament end.
- Tournament format was an individual gross/net competition. 100% handicaps were used.
- This was a pre-flighted and preferred pairings tournament.
- The Tournament was played from the white tees, except for players age 70 and over. Players age 70 and over were permitted to play from the gold tees.
- Lift, clean, and place rules were in effect for this tournament.
- The 108 players were broken into seven (7) flights based on handicaps.
- Prize money was awarded to 4 gross places and 4 net places in each flight.
- In the GROSS FLIGHTS, the 1st place finisher in Flight #1 was Brent Will, Flight #2 was Joe Rillo, Flight #3 was Bruce Shearer, Flight #4 was Peter Johansen, Flight #5 was Dave Hill and Paul Lyskava, Flight #6 was Denis Wood, and Flight #7 was Charles Lafferty.
- In the NET FLIGHTS, the 1st place finisher in Flight #1 was Brian Reidell, Flight #2 was Kyle Shoemaker, Flight #3 was Rick Weisner, Flight #4 was Jim Fritschi, Flight #5 was Craig Mayer, Flight #6 was Randy Harpster, and Flight #7 was Samuel Denisi.
- Closest to the pin went to Brent Will (#3), Will Otto (#5), and Dave Hall (#14).
- Total prize money awarded was $1094 ($10.15/Player), plus $168 ($1.50 per player) for closest to the pins.
- Prize money was awarded to 58 individual players (53.70% of the total field).
- There were 4 skins awarded; Birdie on Hole #1, Eagle on Hole #2, Birdie on Hole #5, and a Birdie on Hole #17.

APRIL 17, 2010 – 2-MAN BETTER BALL GROSS & NET TOURNAMENT
- This is the first extra event sponsored by the Armitage Men's Golf Association for 2010.
- Cost to enter the event was $10 for prize money and $5 for the skins game.
- 36 players signed up to play and 36 players competed in the event.
- While the weather was spectacular last year, this year the weather was anything was great with temperatures in the mid to high 40's when play began, getting only into the mid 50's later in the day, with some wind.
- This was a pre-flighted gross and net event.
- The tournament was played from the white tees, with lift, clean, and place rules in effect. Players 70 and older could play from the gold tee boxes.
- The field was broken into 3 flights with 6 teams in Flights 1 and 2 and 7 teams in Flight 3.
- The 1st Flight-Gross was won by the team of Ralph Harp & Brent Smith with a gross score of 67. The 1st Flight-Net was won by the team of Craig Mayer & Pret Lytle with a net score of 59.
- The 2nd Flight-Gross was won by the team of Geoff Moomaw & Joe Rilo with a gross score of 74. The 2nd Flight-Net was won by the teams of Peter Burry & Tim Drazba and Mike Kernan & Mike Treanor with a net score of 62.
- The 3rd Flight-Gross was won by the team of Herb Henry & Dave Hall with a gross score of 78. The 3rd Flight-Net was won by the team of Charles Taft & Ed Shapiro with a net score of 61.
- Total prize money awarded was $360.00.
- Prize money was awarded to 26 individual players or 72.2% of the field.
- There were 3 skins awarded; Birdie's on Holes #9, #11, and #18.

May 1 2 3 Event
- 96 players signed up to play with 94 players competing.
- Weather was perfect for a round of golf. It was sunny and warm all day.
- This was a non-preferred pairings tournament with each group consisting of an A-B-C-D player.
- The tournament format is a 4-man 1-2-3 format with a ingle net score being counted on the first six holes, two net scores being counted on the next six holes, and three net scores being counted on the final six holes.
- Handicap holes were marked based on the players handicap (100%).
- For teams with only three players, the pro shop used a blind draw to complete the scoring for the team.
- The tournament was played from the white tees.
- The team of Ed Olsen, Wayne Smith, Denis Wood, and Mike Tieman finished in 1st place with a net team score of 116.
- The team of Mark Askins, Tom Baumgardner, and Samuel Denisi finished in 2nd place with a net team score of 117.
- The team of Greg Lux, Jon Hand, Mark Mozes, and Ellwood Derricks finished in 3rd place with a net team score of 120.
- Ten (10) other teams in were awarded prizes.
- Closest to the Pin went to William Wright (#3), Jim Fritschi (#5), and Matt Evans (#14).
- Total prize money awarded was $847 ($9.00/Player), plus $141.00 ($1.50/Player) for closest to the pin.

JUNE 12, 2010 – 2 MAN BETTER BALL (GROSS AND NET)
- 104 players signed up to play with 100 players competing.
- Weather was good with temperatures in the mid to high 80's.
- This was a preferred pairings tournament.
- The tournament was played using summer rules, we played the ball down everywhere.
- To arrive at the net score of the partners, each player played to 50% of their official handicap.
- The tournament was played from the blue tees for players with handicaps of less than 11 and from the white tees for players with handicaps of more than 10. Players over the age of 70 played from the senior tees (gold tee markers).
- This was a pre-flighted event with 16 teams in the First Flight, 16 teams in the Second Flight, and 18 teams in the Third Flight.
- The Gross team winners in Flight #1 were Brandon Rowe & Rusty Rowe (70), Ed White & James Potteiger (70), and Lee Esser & Jeff Palkovic (70); Flight #2 winners were Frank Breiner & Danny Clem (70); and Flight #3 winners were Dan Mee & Joe Kozo (71). A total of 13 teams were awarded prize money in the Low Gross category.
- The Net team winners in Flight #1 were Jeff Campbell & Mike Patterson (64) and Tim Gaul & Peter Johansen (64); Flight #2 winners were Steve Bomgardner & Craig Mayer (64); and Flight #3 winners were Paul Biggs & Bill Griffitsh (64). A total of 13 teams were awarded prize money in the Low Net category.
- Closest to the pin went to Joe Maurizi (#3), Lee Esser (#5), and Terry Boylan (#14).
- Total prize money awarded was $1000 ($10.00/ player), plus $150.00 for closest to the pin.
- Prize money was awarded to 26 two man teams (52.0% of the players competing).
- There were 3 gross skins awarded for this tournament. (Birdies on Holes #5, #10 and #12).

JULY 10 – 11, 2010 – CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
- 121 players signed up to play with 117 competing in the Club Championship on Saturday.
- Of the 117 players competing on Saturday, 111 competed on Sunday.
- Weather for the Club Championship was overcast for most of the day with periods of rain in the early morning hours. It was in the mid 70's on Saturday with perfect weather on Sunday. The golf course was in great shape both days
- Flights were broken down based on handicaps as follows: Championship Flight-0.2 to 7.2; 1st Flight-7.5 to 9.7; 2nd Flight-9.7 to 12.5; 3rd Flight-12.5 to 14.6; 4th Flight-14.7 to 18.7; and 5th Flight-18.9 and over.
- The Championship Flight and Flights 1 to 4 had 20 players and the 5th flight had 21 players with prizes being awarded to the top six places in each flight.
- Crystal trophies were awarded to the winners of each flight.
- The Championship and First Flights played from the Blue Tee markers and the Second thru Fifth Flights played from the White Tee Markers. Seniors 70 and over played from the Gold Tee markers.
- All flights played Summer Rules, i.e., play the ball as it lies.
- Club Champion is Brent Will* (140), First Flight winner was Kevin Kayda (151), Second Flight winner was Terry Taylor (159), Third Flight winner was Marlin Way* (157), Fourth Flight winner was Danny Clem (170), and the Fifth Flight winner was Paul Cox (174). * Won in a playoff.
- Prize pool was $435, plus a crystal trophy for the winner in the Championship Flight.
- Prize pool was $330, plus a crystal trophy for the winner in each of the five flights.
- Total prize money awarded was $2085 plus $354 for closest to the pin. Prizes were awarded to 38 players or 32.48% of the field.
- Closest to the pin prize of $59.00 each went to Dean Sheaffer (#3), Mike Treanor (#5), and Joe Guistewhite (#14) on Saturday (7/10) and $59.00 each went to Ed White (#3), Pat Bauer (#5), and Kyle Shoemaker (#14) on Sunday (7/11).
- This tournament had a skins game each day with one skin (Birdie on #3) on Saturday, and four skins on Sunday (Birdies on holes #3, #10, #11, and #16).
- Pace of play was good again this year with most groups finishing in 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
AUGUST 7, 2010 – THE 6-6-6 TOURNAMENT (GROSS AND NET)
- 90 players/45 teams signed up to play and 88 players/44 teams played.
- This was a preferred pairings tournament.
- The weather was clear and warm with very little humidity. Temperatures were in the mid 70's at tee off time and moved into the low 80's with sunshine during the tournament.
- Play was from the white markers with players 70 and over playing from the gold markers.
- Holes 1 thru 6 were Better Ball, Holes 7 thru 12 were Alternate Shot (Both players drive, select the best drive, and play alternate shot), and Holes 13 thru 18 were Scramble.
- Summer rules for the Better Ball and Alternate Shot portion of the tournament and preferred lies during the Scramble portion only.
- The 45 teams were broken into four flights (12 teams in the 1st flight and 11 teams in the 2nd , 3rd and 4th flights) with prizes being awarded to the top three (3) scores in both a gross division and a net division.
- Net was determined by adding both players' handicaps together and then taking 50% of the result. The result was rounded and it became the handicap for the team and was subtracted from their gross score.
- 1st Flight winner in the gross division were the teams of Brent Will & Danny Clem, and Packy Noone & Kyle Shoemaker with a score of 67.
- 1st Flight winner in the net division was the team of Dean Sheaffer & Greg Welsh with a score of 58.
- 2nd Flight winner in the gross division was the team of Paul Briggs & Clint Griffiths with a score of 69.
- 2nd Flight winner in the net division was the team of Tim Gundlach & Dave Hall with a score of 59.
- 3rd Flight winner in the gross division was the team of Brian Reidell & Steve Foltz with a score of 69.
